Assign an already used Facebook page username to your Facebook page

Most of us own a Facebook page these days, which we use for different purposes. The most annoying part is when we don't get the desired username we expect or want for our blogs, social causes, pages etc as most of us have already used them up. In this tutorial, I will explain on ways to get back or use a
Facebook Username which is already in use.

First of all, let us see How to claim / set-up a Username on Facebook?

1.
Login to your facebook account and Go to this

Link - https://facebook.com/username
2. You will be shown the pages you administer and you will be asked to create a 'Web Address' for your desired pages.

3. Once you have selected your Facebook Page, choose a desired username and click on 'Check Availability' to check whether the Username is available for your Page.
If it is available, that will be your new Facebook page 'Web Address' and if it not, you  will have to choose a different Username for your Page.

Sometime the Username that you wanted might not be available. Since you have the trademark for your Official Website / Blog, you need the name.

Say you have a blog called 'cyber world' and require the facebook username 'cyberworld' , which is not available, you will have to contact facebook and tell them about it.

To Contact Facebook, Go to this Link on 'Questions about Usernames'

Link - https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/360358877344441

Click on the option 'I have an inquiry related to Usernames' and type in the username that you wanted.

Facebook will contact you after sometime regarding this issue.
